A denture or partial denture is a removable dental appliance that replaces missing teeth and the surrounding tissues. There are two kinds of dentures, complete or partial. Complete dentures are used when all of the natural teeth are missing. Partial dentures are used to fill in missing teeth when there are still natural teeth present.
